Considering the difficulties many companies encounter with purchase orders, we've been diligently working on a module dedicated to streamlining the ordering and monitoring of goods for an extended period.
This module has significantly simplified the ordering process by implementing an automated system. This system identifies project items, verifies their availability in stock, and, based on this information, provides recommendations regarding which goods can be reserved from the warehouse and which should be ordered.
Upon clicking the "confirm" button, reservations or purchase orders are instantly generated and can be promptly dispatched to the supplier.
Group orders
Toscana ERP also offers the possibility of group orders, thus optimizing the procurement processes and avoiding unnecessary delivery costs. It allows procurement teams to create a consolidated order, reducing administrative overhead and potential errors. Grouping purchase orders enables you to leverage economies of scale, which can lead to cost savings. By ordering items in larger quantities, you often secure better pricing from suppliers. Furthermore, it can be beneficial for supplier relationships. By placing larger, less frequent orders, you can establish stronger partnerships with key suppliers, potentially leading to better terms, improved service, and priority access to goods.
Purchase orders from work order
Apart from the traditional method of generating purchase orders, you can also initiate them directly from the work order. The primary advantage of this approach, aside from its convenience, is that received goods are automatically allocated to the designated project, eliminating concerns about their use for other purposes. This process ensures timely project completion and maintains production consistency.
